Painting is an instinctive act, a free exploration where I let myself be guided by emotion and letting go. Creating has become fundamental to my life today and essential to my balance. Without sketches or plans, I let the canvas come to life as the layers come together. This process, both physical and sensory, is an intense experience, both powerful and destabilizing, full of doubts and questions.
I love the depths, the invisible, the darkness of water and ice. I like playing with lights, shadows and transparencies, balancing energy and peacefulness. This mysterious and inner side inhabits my canvases and reflects a large part of who I am. I often paint at night, always barefoot, music on—a timeless moment when I'm facing myself. Each canvas becomes a mirror of my emotions, a tangible trace, raw and sincere, between me and the material.
I never title my paintings. I prefer to leave the interpretation open, allowing each viewer to project their own feelings, memories or dreams. For me, painting is not about representing something—it’s about evoking. A sensation, a silence, a breath. It’s a language beyond words, where the invisible takes form and the unconscious speaks.
