"In my artistic practice, I use the human form—particularly male nakedness—as a powerful vehicle to explore vulnerability, intimacy, identity, and memory. By stripping away the layers of everyday life, I reveal the raw beauty and contradictions of the body, using it as a metaphor for both the fragility and resilience of the human condition. My work invites viewers into a space of introspection and connection, encouraging empathy and deeper self-understanding.
Through oil paintings and drawings, I create immersive, thought-provoking environments that reflect on masculinity and the performative nature of identity. Influenced by Sartre and Heidegger, my series Baring The Self examines the tension between authenticity and performance, strength and vulnerability. By challenging traditional ideals of masculinity, I aim to open up conversations around imperfection, emotional truth, and the shared experiences that unite us."
